HEAD COACH
D'Shon De Gannes
D’Shon De Gannes is entering his second year as the Head Boys Soccer Coach.
Coach De Gannes brings a strong blend of collegiate coaching and professional playing experience to STM. He most recently served on the Brown University Men’s Soccer staff as an Assistant Coach and Operations Coordinator.
Before transitioning into coaching, Coach De Gannes played professionally in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) with both the Michigan Stars and Savannah Clovers.
At the collegiate level, he spent three seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he helped lead the team to two Northeast Conference tournament championships and a regular season title. He began his college career at the University at Albany, where he was part of the team that won the America East Championship during his freshman year.
Coach De Gannes earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2022.
Assistant Coach
JP Devine
JP Devine is entering his first year as the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach.
Coach Devine brings a strong background in collegiate athletics, player development, and coaching to STM. Most recently, he served as the Varsity Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Lewis Central High School, where he helped oversee training sessions, match preparation, player development, and program operations. In addition to his high school coaching experience, Coach Devine has worked extensively with Taylor Made Soccer, providing individualized technical training to players of all ages while designing position-specific sessions that emphasize technical mastery, decision-making, and game intelligence.
Before transitioning into coaching, Coach Devine played five seasons of NCAA collegiate soccer at Wartburg College and Oglethorpe University. A central midfielder, he made 66 career starts and logged more than 5,400 minutes. At Wartburg, Devine earned Scholar All-American, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Conference, and CSC Academic All-District honors while helping the Knights capture the American Rivers Conference Tournament Championship and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. He concluded his collegiate career at Oglethorpe University, where he was named Southern Athletic Association All-Conference and helped lead the Stormy Petrels to an SAA Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
Coach Devine earned a Master of Business Administration from Oglethorpe University in 2025 after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Sport Management and Marketing, from Wartburg College in 2023.
